The AX78140 is a USB 2.0 Quad UART/Serial and Parallel Bridge Controller integrating a USB 2.0 controller and PHY with four high‑speed serial ports and one parallel port. It supports two modes: 4S (USB to Quad UART/Serial) and 2S+1P (USB to Dual UART/Serial plus Single Parallel/LPT). The AX78140 is ideal for USB 2.0 I/O bridge applications including USB to UART/RS‑232/RS-422/RS‑485 serial converters, USB parallel (LPT) printer adapters, USB Data Acquisition (DAQ) modules, industrial computers, automation systems, measurement instruments, medical devices, and POS terminals.
