This video demonstrates the application scenarios of AX58400 EtherCAT to IO-Link Gateway and ASIX IO-Link Device Software Stack solutions for the IO-Link ToF sensors, photoelectric sensors, smart LED lights and motor control applications in smart factories.

The AX58400 EtherCAT to IO-Link Gateway integrates AX58400 EtherCAT Slave Controller with Dual-Core MCU and ASIX’s proprietary IO-Link Master Software Stack solution. This gateway solution supports up to 16 IO-Link gateways; each gateway can connect up to 8 IO-Link devices.

ASIX IO-Link Device Software Stack is developed on ASIX AXM-IOLS IO-Link Device Evaluation Board. The software stack package includes ASIX IO-Link Device Software Stack trial library, a demonstration application, AXM-IOLS evaluation board reference schematic and PCB layout files. The AXM-IOLS evaluation board, which is equipped with ST STM32F469AI MCU and L6362A IO-Link device transceiver, supports various IO-Link sensors, such as ToF sensor, for designers to easily evaluate the functionalities of ASIX IO-Link Device Software Stack solution. It is suitable for a variety of smart IO-Link device applications such as IO-Link sensors, IO-Link actuators, IO-Link hubs and valve islands.
